I have spent over 25 years as a senior leader within the education sector, working across the full breadth of provision — from adult and community learning through to further education, higher education, and employer-focused skills programmes. My career has been driven by a passion for creating opportunities that genuinely change lives, whether that’s supporting residents to build confidence and progress, helping employers access the skills they need, or shaping programmes that bring education and industry closer together. I take pride in motivating and developing teams, turning big ideas and strategies into practical plans, and ensuring delivery makes a real and lasting impact. For me, education is about more than qualifications it’s about empowering people, strengthening communities, and supporting employers to thrive in a changing world.
